Description
CYT Atlanta’s Teen Camp is a residential performing arts camp for ages 12-18 at Young Harris College. During the week campers will rehearse and get ready for a public performance of Mean Girls Jr. Also during the week campers will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of different workshops to attend as well as group organized and free time activities. Included with the theatrical training will be daily devotionals and group building events. This camp will not only develop your acting skills but your character skills!
The production of Mean Girls Jr will be performed for families on Saturday July 29th at the theater on campus.
Auditions for roles will be held from 11am-2pm on Wednesday, July 12th at Valor Christian Academy.
About Mean Girls Jr:
Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. Cady and her friends devise a "Revenge Party" to end Regina’s reign with Cady going undercover as an aspiring Plastic. When the lines between the real Cady and her Plastic self get blurred, she must find her way back to herself and her true friends.
