Class Description

Act 2: Off Broadway Musicals
Teacher: Jonathan Goff
Thursdays, 6:30-8:30
Ages 14-18
Why do some musicals make it to Broadway, while others never leave the workshop phase or are designated to Off-Broadway? In this class, students will explore amazing music from shows that never quite made it to Broadway and create ways to make the shows more Broadway friendly. For Showcase, students will perform songs from great Off-Broadway shows and workshops like Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Lightning Thief, Prince of Egypt, Hercules and more!
