Description

 Costume Design is an integral part of telling an over-all theatrical story. This class will teach students how to analyze the text to create an appropriate costume for specific characters. It will also explore director’s concepts, color theory, choosing textiles and more! A perfect class for students who need a more flexible class schedule, this class has a study-at-home component with 4 zoom classes.

Anna Kilbride

Director-- Anna Kilbride graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in Acting. Anna is currently CYT Atlanta’s Artistic Director. She has worked with CYT for 10 years in roles including teacher, musical director, director, show coordinator and camp coordinator. She has worked with several professional theater companies including Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theatre and Syracuse Stage. During her time in college Anna was trained in musical theater and acting, studied Shakespeare at the Globe Stage in London, won the Sawyer Faulk Leadership Award, and had an original one act play produced at Armory Square Theater of Syracuse. Since the age of eight, she has enjoyed performing onstage and her favorite credits include ‘Celia’ in As You Like It, ‘ Louisa’ in The Fantasticks, and ‘Adelaide’ in Guys and Dolls.
