Class Description

This class is for students in grade 6 through age 18.

It’s time to rock! The musical genre of Rock and Pop have been used in musical theater since the 1980s. Now, more than ever, performers are asked to sing, dance and act to Pop/Rock music in modern musicals. This class will help you ace your Pop/Rock audition as well as teach vocal technique, attitude, and character necessary to star in a Rock musical. Showcase will feature songs from shows like Rock of Ages, Aida, Jesus Christ Superstar, Mama Mia and more!

Zach Roe

Zach Roe has been involved with theatre since he was ten. After graduating from Catawba College with a BFA in Musical Theatre, Zach moved to GA with his wife. Since moving here, Zach has worked with multiple theatre companies throughout the metropolitan areas as well as started a career in voice over work. Recently, Zach has started teaching and directing as much as performing! Some of his favorite shows have been: Cinderella, Spamalot, Jekyll/Hyde, Hairspray and Urinetown.
