Description

Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Step into the world of Newsies with this high-energy theater dance class that brings Broadway choreography to life. Dancers will learn and refine dynamic combinations inspired by the MainStage production, focusing on precision, storytelling through movement, and ensemble coordination.

Through weekly sessions, students will build strength, agility, and stage presence while perfecting choreography pulled straight from the show.

This class is perfect for performers looking to level up their dance ability, enhance technique, and gain confidence performing challenging musical theater choreography.

It is strongly encouraged that students cast as named Newsies enroll in this class to deepen their understanding of the show’s choreography, sharpen their performance skills, and bring authentic energy to their onstage roles. (If you have signed up for another class but would like to be moved to this class after casting, we will make that change for you)

Get ready to leap, turn, and seize the day like a true Newsie!

**PLEASE NOTE: This is an advanced class. Any students Ages 10-11 must email Ms. Andrea at agossett@cytatlanta.com to be pre-approved into the class before signing up. **
