Andrea Gossett

Andréa Gossett - Artistic Director Andréa Gossett graduated from Valdosta State University with a BFA in Acting and is currently the Artistic Director of CYT Atlanta, where she has been part of the CYT family for six years. She previously served as Show Coordinator for nearly two years and has worked with several professional theater companies, including Aurora Theatre, Jekyll Island Musical Theatre Festival, Merry-Go-Round, Durango Melodrama & Vaudeville, and American Family Theatre. During her time in college, Andréa trained extensively in acting, dance, and musical theatre and was honored as an Irene Ryan nominee for the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival. Favorite performance credits include Rita in Lucky Stiff, Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest, Bessie in Marvin’s Room, and Charity in Anything Goes. From a young age, Andréa has loved entertaining—whether at home or on stage—and continues to share that passion by investing in the next generation of theatre artists.
